No Deposit or Commitment: We do not ask for money up front, and clients are not required to schedule a minimum number of hours or visits.

 

Experienced Office Staff and Long-Term CareGivers: In Boulder County since 1994, Homewatch CareGivers is one of the oldest agencies in the area.  Our management staff each has a minimum of four years with the company, and because we offer our caregivers benefits and job satisfaction, many have been employed with us for five years or more!

 

No Independent Contractors: Our caregivers are employees of Homewatch CareGivers, never independent contractors.  This eliminates risk: we cover our employees under liability, bonding, and Workers’ Compensation, as well as taking care of taxes.  Employing our caregivers allows us have a level of supervision and training that is not possible when using independent contractors.   In addition, companies using independent contractors, or “registries”, are not able to become licensed by the state, and would therefore not be bound by the strict standards of the State of Colorado HCA Licensure.    

 

Personalized Service: We are experienced in respite care, developmentally or physically disabled, post-surgical or convalescent care, 24 hour coverage (short or long term), and end-of-life care. Our staff is trained in incontinence care, personal care, and mobility assistance. Unlike many agencies, we have insurance in place to allow caregivers to provide transportation and accompany clients for errands and appointments.

    Quality Assurance Visits: We provide monthly visits by a care manager to assure high quality of care at no additional charge.

Exceptional Training: In addition to our extensive new-hire orientation with Quality Assurance Director, Homewatch CareGivers provides our caregivers a wide range of ongoing training through Homewatch CareGivers University, with courses that are accredited or approved by a variety of nationally recognized organizations.  We require more training for our caregivers than the state regulations specify. 

 

 Caregiver Accountability: Caregivers clock in and out from your phone using our unique software program—allowing our office to know what time the caregiver arrived and departed, and eliminating any question that the caregiver was there.  This system also records the tasks the caregivers perform, allowing us to evaluate and fine-tune the care plan.  

 

Emergency Support: Homewatch CareGivers has a twenty-four hour pager system in place seven days a week. Our long-term office staff carries this pager and has the experience to handle any urgent situation that arises.
